How to perfectly spray mount and cut foam core presentation boards.
Want a perfectly mounted board with images that run to the edge? This video shows you how. Don't forget to wait at least a minute before trying to adhere your print. All that really matters is that the cutlines are over your foam core. Swap your blades out after every 4-6 cuts.

Here is a high-speed playback of me playing around with an logo idea. I started with a honeybee circle-dance shape and ended up with a modification of an existing star logo. You'll really see me get hung up on the star a handful of times. No wonder I eventually went back to it. This is not the start, it is not the end. Just a nougaty 3 hour middle piece of design development on a project I am c...

Did you know you can edit an Illustrator composition and in a few steps have that image update in your SketchUp model? Watch to learn how!

How to stitch multiple Match Photos together in SketchUp
Переглядів 46 тис.9 років тому
The Match Photo image import option in SketchUp can be used with multiple photos, as long as there is a common thread (or corner) that can connect each photo. In this video I show you a simple example, modeling a trash bin using two photos. I then show a more detailed interior Photo Match method. There is a little bit of Shaderlight and Photoshop editing for good measure.

Regarding using the so called 7 foot door on 4th street to scale this model, this is not a door. It's a window pane. The door is at the front of the building on Northern Pacific Av.

I tried mounting a panoramic picture on foam board. Picture is for a model train background. Didn't want a glossy look. Printed on bond paper and used Aleene's spray adhesive but experienced some warping of the foam core. What can I do to fix it OR if I have to do it all over.. what can I do to avoid the shrinkage causing the warping???

@@palmswellnesscenter8504 hey there. . Well. As it turned out..I learned a few things I think would have helped to avoid it but in my case I kept it as it. Became a Bob Ross "happy little accident." In my case it added immensely to the 3d effect. Will send ya a pic. You'll see what I mean. Came out phenomenal..

Is there an extension that allows you to change the axes origin like the one you did between the 8-11 min mark? We have something similar where I work where we can update the axes to help in getting good alignments with the 3d model and reference photo. I can't seem to find something that does exacly the same as the plugin at work is proprietary and is not available on the extension warehouse.
